Our practice currently consists of three nephrologists and three advanced practice providers (APPs). We provide hospital nephrology services to the Level 1 trauma center in Spartanburg County, as well as a smaller local community hospital and LTAC. We have a thriving office practice and have been the preferred nephrology group for referrals in Spartanburg for over 35 years. We provide outpatient dialysis care for six dialysis clinics in the area. Two of these dialysis clinics are exclusive to our practice, where we serve as medical directors and are joint venture partners. From these two clinics, we have established a strong home dialysis program (PD and HHD).

Our senior nephrologist is planning to slowly reduce their workload, providing an instant patient base for the new nephrologist joining our team. Weekend call is currently 1:5, as we share call duties with another local nephrology practice. With a new nephrologist in the rotation, weekend call would change to 1:6. Compensation is competitive with the local market for the first two years, with the opportunity to buy into the joint ventures equally after two years if desired. Once fully vested, compensation is well above average.

We are located in Spartanburg, SC, which is surrounded by beautiful mountains and lakes within driving distance. Endless outdoor activities are close by in every direction. We are 45 minutes south of Asheville, NC. Charlotte, NC, is 1.5 hours to the east, and Atlanta, GA, is just over 2.5 hours to the west. South Carolina beaches are less than a 3.5-hour drive, making weekend trips easy and convenient.
